Everyday

Our everyday is a little more complicated, but wonderful too!  I love my little kiddos beyond expression and even though it can be difficult, I'm grateful to be able to stay home with them- watching them grow, learn, laugh, cry, sing, dance, and change little by little is priceless.

First Days

Meeting Henry

Unfortunately, no one under the age of 14, including siblings, was allowed to visit at the hospital.  So Hattie didn't get to meet Henry until we came home.  Kurt dropped Henry and me off at home then went to pick up Hattie from the Roths.

I think she has it down now, but she kept calling him 'Lena' initially :)  Despite being at bit confused at who exactly this baby was, Hattie was happy to see him and asked right away if she could give him a kiss.  She gave him several!  Warmed my heart.

She now calls him Henry, Little Buddy, Little Man, or Z.  Guess his in-womb name will be sticking around.

A bit more

A few more things about the day Henry was born:

His birth date is 3/15/15.  Hattie's is 1/13/13.  I guess we'll be having child #3 on 5/17/17 (which is my sister Megan's birthday!).  We'll see what happens.

Hattie and Henry were both born on a Sunday.

Both kids were born in a room ending in 13.

We also have some adorable photos of Henry taken by a photographer at the hospital.  I love them!
