Bumpers

I parked behind a car today with this written on it's bumper:

"I love my German Shepherd
Pope Benedict XVI"

It made me chuckle.

Eavesdropping

I was walking to the bus stop this evening and overheard part of a conversation from across the street- they were talking loudly. It went something like this:

Guy (with girl listening as they walked): "Reggie and me. No! She'd say it's Reggie and I. Reggie and I. For 4 years she yelled at me like that. Every single time I mispronounciated something. For 4 years!"

That's when I chuckled and noticed the bus coming down the road.

I got it right!

Remember that week when Kurt and I first got engaged and my ring hadn't been sized yet so I wore it on my middle finger and befuddled some people? Well, in ancient Greece women wore their wedding rings on their middle fingers! I shouldn't have had it sized down.

 

The weekend

Kurt broke a tooth. We drove up to MV/A-town/OH for Sam to fix it. Guess who assisted? ME! Yes sir. It's really not too exciting as my sisters and mom can testify (we've all done it for each other). But still, for a few minutes it's exciting to be in control of a spit sucker, water sprayer, and air blower. Two hours later, not so much. And Kurt's tooth is now fine- yay!

Nintendo Wii (you though I was going to say husband didn't you! This isn't that type of blog...sorry Kurt!) is-

You can buy super old games to play on it like Super Mario Brothers 3 and Donkey Kong Country = my newest purchase and newest distraction from doing homework.

It's great! I only used to get to play this at the Lieske's house growing up (or the Janes' if we were in Idaho). Now it's all mine!

Writing

Last night I finished writing my 52nd paper in my college career (yep, I went through and counted in Word). Fifty two. Man. That's....an accomplishment? Yeah. Let's go with that!

Random happenings occur and I make mental notes to turn them into blog posts, but without the internet I keep forgetting to do so. But here's one:

Do you ever feel like letting that terrible, mean driver hit you when he cuts you off just so he'll have to pay for his reckless driving? No? Me neither.
