The Horses of Ogden

Every year painted horses are installed around downtown Ogden.  I'm not sure why, but Hattie loves them!  So we took a little tour to see the horses this week.  Hattie brought her own little horse along for the ride.

I love how in most of the pictures she's has her hand on the horse, giving it a pat.

She's giving the candy horse a kiss!

Hot Hot Heat

It has been HOT!  And according to the forecast it's only going to get hotter.  I dread July and August (we don't have air conditioning).  To beat the heat, Hattie and Kurt went swimming this week and Hattie loved it!  She went down the slide, jumped off the edge to Kurt, and even put her face in the water.  We need to get this girl some swimming lessons!

Yesterday we went to a park with a splash pad.  Hattie was rather reserved, but didn't want to leave, so I guess she liked it!  Henry and I sat under a tree while Kurt and Hattie played.  Then we switched and I got my turn in the splash pad!

Lifestyle Shoot

My photographer friend, Elise, did a lifestyle shoot with me and the kids!  I learned that a lifestyle shoot means they take pictures of you at your home.  So I hurried to pick up the house before our photo shoot the next day :)

Henry was all smiles when Elise arrived, but once she took out the camera he wasn't too sure.  Hopefully the next time we get pictures taken he won't be so shy!

She got some wonderful shots!  I'm so happy to have beautiful pictures of my kids!

3 month!

Henry is 3 months old!  He mostly wears 9 month sized clothing and giggled for the first time.  When lying on his back he can roll on to his side.  He smiles all the time and is good at grabbing and holding on to things.  His sleeping has been a bit worse lately, but that's just what happens!  One lesson I learned with Hattie is that sleep habits change all the time in infants.  We love him more with each month!

On his side!

Look how much he's grown!

Henry's Blessing

Henry received his baby blessing on June 7, 2015.  We were lucky to have all of his grandparents (Oma, Opa, Moppy, Poppy, G-Pa, and Grandpa Sam) in attendance.  The Roths, the other Roths (Karen and Gordon), and Franks were there as well.  Thank you to everyone who came to the event for your love and support of Henry!  He's a special little man and lucky to have such incredible people in his life.

I didn't take too many pictures, but I got one of Grandpa Sam with Hattie and Afton at the park.  Sam was the first to arrive.  Hattie LOVES visitors so he got her full attention all afternoon- she held his hand the entire time at the park.  They just sat together and watched the other kids play.

Hattie's first ice cream cone!  She ate it all by herself and did very well overall.

Hattie's second sleep over!  Hattie stayed with Moppy in the hotel and did great!  (The only other night she's spent away from home was when I had Henry and Kurt and I were in the hospital.)

The man of the hour!  Henry in his adorable blessing outfit- made by my mom!  Isn't she SO talented?!!

Congratulations Henry!  We love you so!
