October 2017: Everyday

Hats I made for the kids....Roman's is way too big!  Guess he can wear it for years to come.

Soccer in a skirt!

The airplane museum!

Roman loved sitting here.

He always pulls the drain out.

Playground with a view!

Walk with the Roths!

The Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point was awesome!  Thanks for inviting us Corinne!
Hattie's in there somewhere...

Roman weighs as much as 36,360 grasshoppers.

Hattie on the monitor while going through the...maze? course of some sort.

Roman started pointing around this time and I thought it was the cutest thing ever. His chubby little finger!

This water table was Roman's absolute favorite! He was beyond soaked.

Videos:

This is the first video we have of Roman walking- he started walking unassisted on October 7th at Lena's birthday party.

Some of these should be in the 'highlights' post for October, but I don't want to go edit it.  So they're here instead!  This is Roman seeing the ocean for the first time.

The zipline was crazy at the Corn Maize.  Thanks for filming me Charlotte!

Another early walking video of Roman

Octobe 2017: Highlights

At the beginning of October I had no plans, but it ended up being a super busy month full of travel and visitors!

These pictures didn't turn out great, but Roman turned 11 months old on the 6th!  And on the 7th he took his first unassisted steps!  His top two front teeth came in and he was a climbing maniac (still is).

Mid October we traveled to Washington!  Flying with just me and the kids was an adventure.

Looking out the window

He discovered suckers!!!

Always love the view as we fly into Seatac!

Roman crawled in/on/under as many things as possible at Moppy and Poppy's house.

Hattie at the dentist!

We visited my old office which has moved locations- right next to UW!  We walked to the 'W' and took some pictures.

Roman loves Poppy!

I don't have a picture of Ann and Dale, but we ate dinner at the Jenkins'!  My cousin and a couple of her boys came too- they were awesome and played with my kids the whole time!  Love you Auntie Ann and Uncle Dale!

We met up with the Biehl clan for lunch!  And then hung out with them for the rest of the day. Roman kept taking Sofia's fries.  It was adorable!

Roman loves Opa too!  He loves his Grandpas :)

Matching outfits!

Mom, the kids, and I visited Anacortes! I love my beautiful home town!

Cap Sante

Washington Park

This boy!

The tree!  It's not looking great these days....no more green!

Roman was SO HAPPY to see Kurt after arriving home.  Kurt didn't want to put him down!  I was glad to see him too!  Nothing makes you appreciate your husband more than spending a week without him :)
THANK YOU so much mom for the trip and for hosting us!  We love you tons and can't wait to come visit again!

Here we are at our ward's trunk-or-treat/chili cook off.  We have the best Bishop!  Roman just wanted to hang in this chair (which was bishop's).

Love that little monkey!

And that Elsa girl!

And and Lili flew back with us to Utah for a week long visit.  Thanks for coming twinners!

My Harry Potter pumpkin.  Halloween always makes me think of Harry Potter.  I really want to get myself some Hogwarts robes....Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, I'm undecided.  Yes, I'm a nerd.  I'm aware!

Hattie's pumpkin!  I thought it looked like Jupiter.

On Halloween Day we went out the Corn Maize with the Roths....and it was practically empty!  We had a blast and never had to wait in lines.

I asked Ani and Lili if they wanted to wear my and Kurt's costumes from last year.  They did!  So here are Mike and Sully.  They were thrilled to take them home too.

Bouncy House

Tractor Train

Afton is so sweet!

In the corn maze!  We actually found all the markers.

Picture from Joe.  So cute!!!

It's a pit full of corn kernels!

Trick-or-treating!  Hattie said she didn't feel well, so we went home after just a few houses.  She had a temperature of 101!  Poor thing.  We stayed in and watched Hocus Pocus (which she discovered at Moppy's house and LOVED).

She wouldn't smile.  Poor girl!

Roman's first house ever!

Mom found this witch costume in her garage- it was mine when I was about 10!  It must have been huge back then.  I was super excited to bring in back home to Utah and wear it for Halloween!
