Winsteads!

We were thrilled to have Kurt's sister Jana and her boys come visit us!

They took Hattie on some adventures and left me and Henry at home.  It was so nice!  It's much easier having only one child to take care of (and my outing times are limited- I avoid nursing in public/car/etc. if I can).  And Hattie LOVED it.  Jana texted me a few pictures:

They went to see the trains, to the Children's Museum in SLC, and also to the Hill Air Force Base museum.

I met up with them at the air force museum:

Hattie is putting rocks in Ammon's pocket :)

A picnic at the park!  Hattie had her first golf lesson :)

We went to a restaurant downtown- both Ethan and Ammon took on the challenge of eating a 3 patty, triple bacon, triple cheese burger and fries.  If you finish the whole thing you can write your name on the wall.  Ethan succeeded! "I'm still not full"

The day they left we ate crepes and played in the snow!  What?  Yes.  It snowed about 6 inches the day they left and then quickly melted away.  Crazy spring!

We love and miss you!  Thanks for coming to meet Henry and play with Hattie!  Hope to see you soon!

Church

Henry went to church for the first time!  We (Henry and I) only went to sacrament meeting.  He stayed in his car seat and slept the whole time so I think it was a success.

Smile!

He melts my heart!

Also, he's wearing 3-6 month sized clothes.  Sheesh!

Tummy Time

Henry is supposed to do tummy time everyday.  And Hattie likes to participate!  I used to let her lay down by him, but that evolved into her sitting, stepping, laying, on him.  So now she gets her own blanket to lay on for tummy time!

Henry's supposed to be awake, moving around and strengthening his neck muscles...it usually ends up like this.

Siblings

Hattie likes to hold Henry's hand.  It's a bit awkward and sometimes ends in pulling too hard on Henry's arm, but it's still adorable.

Hattie is reading to Henry in this one.  Love that girl!  And that boy :)

Easter

On Easter Sunday we did a little egg hunt of our own in the front room using the eggs we dyed earlier that week...not sure why we did that.  They all ended up broken!

Then the kids got all dressed up for dinner at the Anderson's.  Carolyn was my mom's good friend growing up in Idaho and lives not too far away from Ogden now.  Ever since Megan moved to Utah she has been invited over to the Anderson's home to watch General Conference and eat dinner.  We have been included in the tradition since moving to Utah ourselves.  This time Conference coincided with Easter.  We were happy to spend the holiday there!  It was a delicious dinner and it was great to visit!

Egg Hunt

We are fortunate to have the Roths near by!  And I don't just mean my sister and her family.  My brother-in-law's family, especially his mom, has been very welcoming to us since we've moved to Utah and makes sure to include us in their family activities.  We love going!

The Saturday before Easter they had an egg hunt for all the grandkids (and adoptive grandkids).

Henry found his Easter basket!

Hattie loved finding the eggs!

 She got quite the haul!

Playing with a balloon.

Thanks to the Roths Hattie had a very happy Easter!

Everyday

Our everyday is a little more complicated, but wonderful too!  I love my little kiddos beyond expression and even though it can be difficult, I'm grateful to be able to stay home with them- watching them grow, learn, laugh, cry, sing, dance, and change little by little is priceless.

Hattie likes her brothers new towels!

She also likes her new brother (most of the time)!

Feeding her doll!

Not sure what to say on this one- Hattie cracks me up!

Baking cookies- Hattie got some flour on her shirt.

Cuties!

Jumping on the couch!  Well, jumping off the arm of the couch onto the cushions.

My easy going fella!
