Roaring Blocks

Hattie is just the cutest.  And the best way to portray that is through video!  Here she is roaring like a lion:

And here are a few of her knocking over blocks with Papa.  Too cute!!!

Seahawks

What an awesome season!  We're big Seahawks fans around here; the playoffs were very exciting!  It was a bummer that we didn't win the Super Bowl, but we still enjoyed the journey and can't wait until next year!  Go Hawks!

This was probably my favorite moment of the Season- the game to get in to the Super Bowl.  We were down the entire game and the Hawks caught up it in the last few minutes by scoring a couple touchdowns, a point after, and a two point conversion.  It was VERY exciting.  The game ended in a tie and we went to overtime.  The Seahawks scored on our first possession.  Anyways- Kurt was holding a sleeping Hattie the entire time!  He was literally shaking from excitement and disbelief.  The poor guy.  I know he would have been standing and cheering if circumstances were different.  It was awesome.  Also, doesn't Hattie look so tiny in Kurt's arms?

Hattie's (actual) Birthday!

On January 13, 2015 Hattie woke up to pancakes!  She had some awesome bed head.

Then we got ready to head out- complete with mom's hat on her head.

Then we met Megan, Charlotte, Afton, and Lena at the Children's Museum!

Hattie loved driving the firetruck.

Officer Hattie and astronaut Afton!

Her royal highness Afton and Hattie the jester!

One more stop at the firetruck before heading out

Afterwards Hattie and I went out to lunch.  And then Kurt took her out to dinner!  Happy Birthday little lady!

Snow Day!

Since we were in Washington when the big snow storm hit over Christmas, this was the first snowfall we'd seen (since a small one in the beginning of November).  It was mostly gone by the next day!  I hear this winter has been unusually warm.

I'm glad Hattie and I took advantage of the snowy day!

Party!

We had a little party for Hattie the weekend before her 2nd birthday.  She got a new toddler bed and bedding, but that was all set up a week before her birthday.  She needed something to open, so we bought her a Curious George book set.  Based off that I went with a monkey theme for her birthday.

Here's her monkey cake and table decorations!  Those are trees if you couldn't tell.

Helping make the fruit salad!

Blowing out the candle and eating the cake!  She was much more excited this year.

Take a hike!

We took a "hike" with the Roths.  We didn't get too far and then the girls just wanted to play at the bridge.  So that's what we did!

We stopped on our way back to look at the frozen reservoir.

Daily Life

Here are a whole bunch of pictures from our every day!  They're nothing spectacular, but they're special to me!

Hattie drying her hair:

Swinging on the trapeze in the Roth's basement:

Kurt and Lena!  They're best buds :)

Hattie just after waking up from a nap- she was super grumpy and had crazy hair.

Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby...errrr....toddler.

Look Mom!  I got my legs out!

Swinging in the snow!

We finally drove up into the canyon and found some snow to try out Hattie's sled.  It's been a warm winter!

Bunny slippers!

Camera girl!

You always need your purse at nap time!

Holding her doll's hand until she falls asleep.  What a sweetheart!

Selfies!  This girl is the best!

I love that she loves pink and pirates (that's her spyglass).

Running around the unfinished basement:
